Jane is seemingly back to her old self where Henry’s concerned as the two get ready for Henry’s big political announcement, that he will seek the seat of a disgraced councilman with Gavin’s help. Unbeknownst to Henry, Jane is still seeking answers to the mysteries of the Drake with Detective Cooper.

Meanwhile, Sasha Doran is back, but after making up with her mom, she agrees to retain her Laurel Harris identity and continues to work on Henry’s campaign. Gavin doesn’t trust his own daughter after what happened with the car accident and her disappearing. He tells her flat out that their common ground is her mother and his wife, Olivia. If Sasha hurts Olivia again, there’s going to be a problem.

On the eve of his political announcement, Henry is accosted outside of his office by the councilman he’s seeking to replace and has second thoughts about his run for office. Laurel/Sasha takes over for Gavin to push Henry forward, using his own words. Henry throws his hat into the ring.

Brian, Louise and Alexis are still a triangle. A producer is very interested in Brian’s play, provided he changes the ending. Brian has this problem where he can’t write unless he’s with Alexis. Alexis is getting cold feet again and confronts Gavin who knocks her literally to the floor. Another back story emerges as we find out that Alexis sold her soul to Gavin for the ability to walk again after someone hit her with a car and left her on the road for dead. Later on, we find out that someone was Louise when she was using.

Jane and Detective Cooper visit the home of Harlan Moore, a supposedly long-dead member of the Order of the Dragon, the secret group that sacrificed Libby in 1927. Libby is still haunting Jane. They meet Harlan’s great granddaughter who is more than a bit strange. Jane asks to use the bathroom, but goes on a search and is very surprised to find a 117-year-old, medically-fragile Harlan waiting for her. He tells her she needs to find a door in the heart of the Drake, release Libby and then the comfort of death will be afforded to him.

Back at the Drake, Jane goes wandering and finds a mirror in the basement. In a dream (or is it), she goes back to the mirror and pulls Libby through, releasing her. Of course, in true Drake fashion, something terrible also comes through the mirror. Jane wakes up, but so does Harlan. Instead of dying, he rips out all his tubes and appears downstairs in front of his shocked great granddaughter as a young man, asking for a steak dinner.

So things at the Drake are just as “strange” as they were when we last visited. There are only three episodes left to go to finish out the season.

If you need to catch up on how the show got to this point, you can do that by reading the recaps at the bottom of this article.

Rumor has it that when the cancellation was announced, the last episode was re-shot to give closure to the show’s fans. The story line seems to center around Jane and her relationship to the Drake. Will we finally find out who Jane really is We’ll just have to tune in to find out. The last episodes of 666 Park Avenue will air on ABC on Saturday nights at 9 p.m. eastern time over the next three weeks.
